Lovely hotel, basic rooms but you pay what you get. 2 good supermarkets just across the road and a small selection of bars and restaurants nearby.… There is some noise at night up to around 11pm when Bar 61 or Jimmy’s finish the entertainment/karaoke. The food was lovely, a good selection for breakfast and a nice choice for dinner. There are some lovely coastal walks and the bus to Ciutadella runs hourly. The pool is lovely and clean with plenty of sun beds, a small cove is close by if you want to swim in the sea. We stayed as a group of 12 on half board and he was happy to arrange for some of us to swap our dinner for lunch if we wanted to dine out. The staff are excellent, Chris in the restaurant deserves a special mention. The lack of air con wasn’t an issue in May but I can see how it would be later in the year. The apartment was a good size, clean and comfortable. This was the first time staying at Vista Picas and it was so enjoyable. We have made precious memories in a really nice place.… I cannot recommend the Vista Picas Apartments enough.

Plus there is a Water Park just around the corner (we didn't try it so cannot give an opinion) We all had an amazing week and all agreed that we would definitely return- and soon. Jimmy Hills bar/complex is a 2 minute walk away (this has a kids show on at 8pm and then a tribute act later) and the main restaurants and bars are another 2 minute walk. The apartments are really well located with 2 x supermarkets literally across the road. Bedding and towels were changed twice during the week- which is more than enough in my opinion. There is also a big kids pool which is a bonus. The pool is really big and is in the main shallow so great for kids.
Chris who runs the bar is brilliant and really attentive to whatever you need.
At the weekends the locals eat there so be warned to book a table if you intend to have lunch. The food at the pool bar/restaurant was really good and o great value- not dear at all. We all had a pool view too!! As mentioned by others the only downside was that there is no air conditioning- but the fan that is provided isn't cheap and does a job. We had 4 x one bedroom apartments which were a great size and well equipped. We were on a family holiday- 7 adults and 2 toddlers and from the moment that we arrived we were made to feel welcome and we knew that we were going to have a great time. This was our first visit- the Vista Picas Apartments are highly recommended by us.
